The conference is held at the College of Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), Mashhad, Iran. Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (est. 1949) is one of the nation’s top comprehensive universities and the largest center of higher education in the north east of Iran. It is named after the great epic poet of Persian language who composed Shahnameh (The Book of Kings). At present, FUM boasts 12 colleges, 38 research centers, 7 centers of excellence, 820 faculty members, and over 20,000 students. The university is ranked first in Iran for attracting international students, with currently over 1200 foreign students enrolled in its various academic programs.
The college of engineering was established in 1975 and includes most engineering disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
