Abstract :
During the past decade, deep neural networks have become a popular tool in medical image processing, especially when grading cancer or abnormal tissues. Due to the scarcity of specialized pathologists and the possibility of human error, it is necessary to improve the accuracy of histological data processing. To address this, we explore different deep neural networks tailored for tissue detection, segmentation, and classification in histological images. Our focus is on diagnosing heart diseases using histological images of the heart. Visualization and evaluation methods are used to evaluate the performance of the models on whole slide images. The experimental results of our model demonstrate two percent increase in accuracy compared to previous works, by achieving 98.44% and 98.05% for accuracy and precision, respectively.
